In 2013, my mom, Marcia Hirschauer, was diagnosed with melanoma. It was a very tough time for our family, but we made it through with the support of our amazing family & friends! My mom is now a few months away from being 5 years cancer free-woohoo! This 5k is a run/walk to support research and education on melanoma. Please join our team this year to support this great cause! Our Vision: We envision a world where every adult and child is aware of the risks of melanoma and takes preventative measures; where those who suffer from melanoma receive comfort and healing; and ultimately, where every case of melanoma will be completely curable.
