NEW YORK CITY MARATHON 2022
THIS. IS. PERSONAL.
This year has been defined by the loss of my mom from ocular melanoma. While fitness has always been a big part of my life. After seeing her helpless struggle the main way I copped was investing in my own health. After her passing I decided that I had no choice but to run the NYC marathon and raise $$$ in her honor.
I'm fighting to find a cure and raise awareness.
As partners in this fight, I will do my part and keep you informed about my training and running the NYC Marathon with Jack's Team.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my fundraising goal
for Jack's Fund.
- $30 = the rates of melanoma have been rising for the last 30 years.
- $54 = One person dies every 54 minutes from melanoma.
- $100.35 = 100,350 new cases of melanoma will be diagnosed in the US in 2022.
- $250 = Free skin screening (average fee charged by dermatologists' offices for a skin screening).
- $800 = Melanoma costs over $800 million to treat annually.
