$1,940 towards $2,200

In 2012, a month after I graduated high school, I lost my father, Michael Seiltz, after a long and hard battle with melanoma. At only 41 years old, my father had so much of his life left to live.

"Be passionate. Grab life and jump in with all your heart and soul. Yes, risk is greater but through full commitment you get the most fulfillment. I am proud of you. Above all, my daughter, remember that I love you. And I always will."

I have taken his words with me in every aspect of my life and do what I can every day to make him proud.

As an Army and Afghanistan war veteran, a mother, and an All-American Half Marathon finisher, I am no stranger to challenges. Without a doubt, the Berlin Marathon will be a challenge. But with your support, we can make a difference together in the fight against melanoma.

2022 marks 10 years without my dad. I will run the Berlin Marathon in his honor, and raise money to support Jack H. Marston II Melanoma Fund. Their campaign to fund research and provide awareness programs (early detection saves lives) makes a real difference --- and you can be a part in it.

Check out my fundraising page and please consider making a donation to help me reach my goal of $2200.
